Clare Kobasa (CCL/Mellon Seminar 2019) Named Assistant Curator at the Saint Louis Art Museum

Clare Kobasa (CCL/Mellon Seminar 2019) has been named Assistant Curator at the Saint Louis Art Museum. 

Kobasa participated in the annual CCL/Mellon Foundation Seminar in Curatorial Practice in 2019, and she holds a PhD from Columbia Univerisity. Most recently, Kobasa completed a two-year appointment as the Suzanne Andrée Curatorial Fellow in Prints, Drawings and Photographs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She was also a predoctoral fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana–Max Planck Institute for Art History in Rome and has held internships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago and Yale University Art Gallery.

Of the new position, Elizabeth Wyckoff, curator of prints, drawings and photographs, said “Clare brings a wealth of relevant experience and curiosity to the position.”
