The Portland Art Museum announces Kathleen Ash-Milby (CCL 2015) as its Curator of Native American Art

The Portland Art Museum has announced Kathleen Ash-Milby (CCL 2015) as its new Curator of Native American Art.

Over the course of nearly two decades as an Associate Curator at the National Museum of the American Indian, Kathleen has organized numerous exhibitions of modern and contemporary Native art. In 2016, she was also co-curator of "SITElines Biennial: much wider than a line" at SITE Santa Fe.

Director Brian Ferriso notes: "Kathleen is a highly respected leader in the field. Her groundbreaking work and exciting vision will be important to deepening further our Museum’s relationship with our community and the region. We couldn’t be more excited by her appointment to this critical position."
