Bronx Museum of the Arts names Deborah Cullen (CCL 2010) as next Director

Bronx Museum of the Arts has named Deborah Cullen (CCL 2010) as their next Director.

Deborah participated in the CCL Fellowship in 2010 as Director of Curatorial Programs at El Museo del Barrio, and in 2012 was appointed Director and Chief Curator at the Wallach Art Gallery at Columbia University in the City of New York. A scholar of Caribbean, Latinx, and African American art, Deb has organized numerous surveys and solo-exhibitions while also overseeing the Wallach's transition to its new galleries in Harlem.

On her move, Deborah explains: "The Bronx Museum of the Art’s mission and innovative programs intersect with my passion for working with emerging talents and exploring a diversity of contemporary production through crucial, accessible programming rooted in community."
