Deputy Director for Regional Development

Katerina’s current position is Deputy Director for Regional Development at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow (since September 2019). She is responsible for the strategic development of the network of Pushkin Museums branches in several cities across Russia. At present, the network consists of 6 branches that were previously known as the National Centre for Contemporary Arts (NCCA) and have merged with the Pushkin Museum early in 2020. Katerina’s responsibilities include strategic planning and expansion of the network, integrating the new branches into the organizational structure of the museum, overseeing and coordinating the work of the branches, creating the framework of artistic programs across the network, developing and promoting the brand, fostering national and international partnerships, and more.

Katerina also has part-time teaching position as Associate Professor at Art History Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University’s Faculty of History (since September 2015). Her taught courses include International Modern and Contemporary Art, Museum Studies, Art PR and Marketing, and more.
