Emily Ballew Neff (CCL '13) Named Executive Director of Memphis Brooks Museum

Core Advancement

Congratulations to Emily Ballew Neff (CCL '13) on her recent appointment as executive director of the Memphis Brooks Museum.

Currently the president of the The Association of Art Museum Curators, Emily served as the first curator of American Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where she organized over 20 celebrated exhibitions. She will assume her new position at Memphis Brooks in mid-April, just in time to dive into the planning of the museum's 100th anniversary in 2016.

Emily says, "The museum has an extraordinary history as the only encyclopedic institution in Tennessee, and I’m looking forward to helping to write the next chapter in its existence."
