Marina Tyquiengco (CCL/Mellon Seminar 2018) has been named the new Curatorial Assistant in Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Tyquiengco participated in the annual CCL/Mellon Foundation Seminar in Curatorial Practice in 2018 and is a PhD candidate in the History of Art and Architecture at the University of Pittsburgh, advised by Professor Terry Smith on contemporary Indigenous art. In 2016, she received her MA in Art History from the University of Pittsburgh with a project on reuse of ethnographic photographs by contemporary Aboriginal artists.

Tyquiengco joins CCL alums Reto Thüring (CCL 2016) and Akili Tommasino (CCL/Mellon Seminar 2014) in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s Contemporary Department.
