Alexis Bard Johnson (CCL/Mellon Seminar 2017) has been named Curator at the ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives at the University of Southern California Library.

Johnson participated in the annual CCL/Mellon Foundation Seminar in Curatorial Practice in 2017 and is a Ph.D. Candidate in Art History at Stanford University where she was a 2018-2019 Luce/ACLS Dissertation Fellow in American Art.

Prior to joining the ONE Archives, Johnson has worked at the Princeton Art Museum, the Whitney Museum, and the Terra Foundation for American Art. At Stanford, she co-curated the exhibition, Missing Persons (2018) and researched for Contact Warhol, which was co-curated by Richard Meyer and Peggy Phelan (2018).
