Ryan N. Dennis (CCL 2019) named Chief Curator and Artistic Director of the Mississippi Museum of Art's Center for Art and Public Exchange

Ryan N. Dennis (CCL 2019) has been named named Chief Curator and Artistic Director of the Mississippi Museum of Art's Center for Art and Public Exchange (CAPE). 

Since 2017, Ryan has served as the Curator and Programs Director of Project Row Houses (PRH) in Houston, Texas. She joined Project Row Houses in 2012 and has organized and co-organized ten rounds of PRH group exhibitions with local, national, and international artists. Her work focuses on African American contemporary art with a particular emphasis on socially engaged practices, site-specific projects, and public interventions. Prior to joining Project Row Houses, Ryan was the traveling exhibition and artists-in-residence manager at the Museum for African Art (now the Africa Center) in New York and a curatorial assistant at the Menil Collection in Houston.
